• Tennis court of Rocha Brava

Take advantage of the consistently great sunshine and get the heart pumping at one of our 4 premium tennis courts. Tennis courts are available for hire straight from the Tennis Club reception. Bringing along your Tennis gear on holiday might not be ideal for you so you can also hire equipment from rackets to balls.

Our courts are full size and are hardcourts making them easy to get a grip on when you’re chasing that ball from one end to another! All courts are located in the center of the resort.

Tennis Tournaments

Throughout the year we also run competitions suitable for all ages. You can take part in many different fun tournaments but there those specifically for men, women, children and mixed groups. It’s a great way to stay active, introduce a new sport to the kids and meet other sun worshippers staying at the resort too.

Tennis Lessons

We also have a resident tennis coach who is available for teaching. This can be done one-on-one or alternatively in small groups if you and the whole family want to learn how do things the professional way. However lessons for children or adults specifically can also be arranged. Once you’ve finished your lessons, you can always book a court and some equipment to put your newfound skills to the test!

Lessons are suitable for beginners or the more serious looking to hone their skills for playing games back home. You’ll get valuable insight into proper form, ball control and racket control. You can book our tennis coach from reception, lessons are available all year round.

You can reserve your court at the reception of the Tennis Club, as well as hire or purchase equipment to play. There is also table tennis available.

Pickleball is an increasingly popular sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. The game uses paddles, similar to oversized table tennis bats, along with a hollow plastic ball. It’s played on a badminton court (although with a lower net), and is a great game for all ages and abilities.

Pickleball is fast paced, easy to learn and great fun, even for beginners. As you become more experienced, you’re bound to enjoy the competitive edge and the long rallies, fast footwork and hand eye co-ordination that form a crucial part of each game. Although usually played in doubles, singles games are also very popular – especially if you’re looking for a challenge!

Pickleball is now available on the tennis courts, so come and try it out for yourself during your break.
